Yep....bought two of the 2.0's......only fished with it once so far but casts a mile and is lighter and smaller frame than the original....should be a great reel.

Definitely post your findings when you get to use it more.  Thanks!

It caught my eye, but I feel like with the Curado  at 149.... And the lews mb at 139. I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger on one. I need to hear more reviews before I buy a couple

Great, I've used the original and loved it. I agree post your findings after using it a while

I'll probably not be buying a PQ unless I need it as loaner reel.  But I'd still like to know how good they are since they retired a beast.  In fact this year they will be retired from my starting lineup and will be used as my extra, backups and my beater reels while I'm travelling for work or my annual family Florida vacation.

I ordered 2 of them a week or 2 ago. I've got a few hours in throwing traps on one of them so far.

It feels and casts like the original. The PQ was due for a weight loss and it is a nice improvement. I am very happy with mine, I have no complaints.

I have a few original PQ's I bought on sale over the years . I would buy a PQ 2.0 on a deeply discounted sale but no regular price as I would move to Lew's , Quantum or Daiwa at that $100 to $139 price point ... While the PQ 2.0 is a nice upgrade - it is too little too late in terms of weight freduction and feature set as compared to Lew's , Daiwa , Quantum and others offering 6 oz. packages in 9:1 gear ratios down to 5:1 gear ratios.
