MainelyBASS Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 I have seen a few instances where people have said that Keitech makes the speed shad for Bass Pro Shops. Im just wondering where people are getting that information from? I have googled it and can't find any results. Can anyone back up the statement with proof from a website? Thanks for the help. Im not really looking for a response like "I work at Bass Pro and that's what they told us" The only reason why im not interested in that as an answer is because I work at Cabelas and I am told all sorts of things about products by management that arent true. Super User roadwarrior Posted February 28, 2017 Super User Posted February 28, 2017 I can't answer your question, but I will offer an alternative solution: Rage Swimmer Quote
jr231 Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Lol if keitech is making them(which I doubt). They are clearly seconds. The speedshad action is sub par at best. 1 Quote

I had a sandwich bag full of those before they were even available in retail stores, they are dynamite. I got them from a friend of Steve's. I am just looking to settle a disagreement with a friend of mine. Quote

I doubt this also, but if you do a search on "speed shad" in this forum, there is a user who says "Anyone with a little knowledge of Bass Pro knows that their speed shad is made by Keitech." Ive sent private messages to the user to ask where they got their info from, but no response. Im assuming people "think" Keitech makes them because they look like swing impacts, but I have no proof either way. Quote
jr231 Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 There are numerous ones that look just like the impacts... Like Berkely and many others. I'm not sure bud Quote

Management are the last people id believe about anything:) If they said its raining, ill go check first. I highly doubt the keitech story. If any on here have said it, well show the proof if your word means anything? I can tell you this, the speed shad is a far less quality bait. But that just about all BPS sell now.... Quote
Allen Der Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 it could be the same mold but the consistency of the plastic is definitely different. 2 Quote
