weekend_hooker Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Ok I need a little help with some waypoints. I recently bought a garmin echomap 73sv. I was on google earth earlier and was looking at the lake I fish. Since the lake is down I was marking brush-piles and points of interest. Question is, how can I transfer those waypoints from google earth to my Garmin. Do I have to manually enter each point's long and lat? New to the gps on fish finders, so I'm lost. Quote
Todd Driscoll Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 First, download Garmin Homeport software: https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/64242 Then directly import the Google Earth .kmz file into Homeport. Once the .kmz file is loaded, insert your SD card in the computer, then simply drag/drop this imported .kmz file on the card. The file will then be saved in .adm (Garmin proprietary format). 1 Quote
