Going to a new Lake tomorrow to scope it out and wet a line.

We've had 60's here in Western PA this week, so I took off Friday to go out and try a new lake.

I'll provide an update after my trip.

Anyone else skipping/taking off work or school to fish?

We have a scheduled maintenance shutdown tomorrow and Monday, so I will definitely be wetting a line in the morning. It is supposed to be 73 here tomorrow! Perfect timing.

I am feeling a sickness coming on as well. 76 here tomorrow now to decide between a lake or a river.

Cut out at noon yesterday and spent the afternoon fishing. Not too many 80 degree days here in February

Got the day off tomorrow too. Supposed to be 60 up hear in Ct. but the lakes are still 1/2 froze. I'm heading to the river to see how the trout are doing.

Yeah I'm off tomorrow, but since I'm retired does it count as scheduled?

By the way, what day is tomorrow?   :dontknow:

yeah i'm gonna probably be off half a day.  front moving through.  supposed to be warm but the wind is supposed to blow over 17 mph.  not sure if i'll go or not.  definitely gonna try to fish saturday.  the temps will be 25 degrees colder but less wind.  cold fronts are more suited to my style of fishing anyway.
