Maybe it's because I've never caught them before, but I think these guys are such good looking fish! And depending on a variety of factors the colors can really vary, they are a unique fish for sure. This one was either the best looking or runner-up that I have seen so far, it was about 14-15" long and ate a shad rap today on the river here in Morgantown.

Love this species. Used to catch a bunch in Denver on a drop shot with Jackall Crosstail Shads or Bass Assassasins   Nice pic

They are neat lookingfish. They're usually almost black when I catch one.

I have a photo from a long time ago when I was a teenager  , I  cant post on the internet . I exceeded the limit for sauger .  A lot ..
