New meaning new to Bass Resource and Florida fishing.  Living in Northwest Florida, near Pensacola.  No very little about fishing this area, hoping to get some insight on bass fishing this area.  Haven't found any lakes nearby but plenty of rivers, Escambia, Black and Yellow.  Only been on Escambia once with little success.  Have a River Hawk boat and a Astro bass boat.  Use to fish tournaments from North and South Carolina area in my younger days, mainly in Skeeter bass boats.  Now just want to do some recreation fishing.  Totally catch and release.  Biggest bass 10lb. 2oz. from Orange Lake, Fl.

I moved to Pt St Joe last Sept. and have discovered tidal effects on my bass fishing abilities. {haha}. I am learning to fish drains on falling water, struggle on high. they will eat sq. bills and lizards, i think a bluegill color for either lure is working best for me. Jerk baits and top water a close second. I am learning the lake, wimico, and a lot of bayou fishing.
