Favorite Jig heads and weights for keitech fat swimbaits? Update. I'm looking for a detailed head and eyes jig head instead of a weighted hook.

I don't get too carried away with jig heads. Just a plain ball head will work fine.

Anywhere from a 1/8 to 1/4 oz. depending on the size of the swimbait and the wind.

Almost can't fish em wrong. Here's something I learned... Try a 1/2oz jig head.. everyone is scared to go heavy because they think it will hinder the action.. but in reality the 1/2oz (even 3/8) will make the front of the impact wobble back and forth on a steady retrieve.. Giving it more action than just the tail moving.

I've had success fishing them t-rigged with an Eco pro tungsten 3/16.

I love EP bullet weights. Bluegill in particular

I have luck with Fat Impacts on chatterbaits and underspins.

Yes I will use on hand made bladed jigs as trailers. Im looking for a jig head with detailed head and eyes. I have weight ewgs but think jig head would be better presentation

They have a detailed head? Have you rigged one how do they fit?

Do a search on TW and type in swimbait heads there will be alot of choices for what you asked for.  Read the reviews on there to determine what you want.  Here's my search I'm not sure if this will work or not.

These Trokars work extremely well. They have a shorter shank than most makes it easier to get the bait on straight. Also has prong on top and bottom to keep the bait from turning over or sliding down unlike say the Owner hook that only has one and bait slides/spins more easily. Trokar is also more stout/strong than the Owner. The Owner flexes some, that I dont like for its price.

For less money these Northland Mimic Minnow jigheads have worked well and a bit more detailed. Not as large a hook but they work, caught my PB using one with a 3.8" SIF.

Here is what I have. I struggle threading plastics so it might be why I have trouble getting bit on this set up. I didn't initially buy these for Keitech though. They might be just a little big, that's a 3.8 rigged up

For the 2.8 and 3.3 I like the Keitech Tungesten fine guard head and also underspins. For the 3.8 and up I'll usually use Revenge Hedz or VMC boxer heads.

Those look good. I'd use 4.8 and maybe trim the nose a bit. Who makes these and what size? I like the eyes

I considered revenge but the photos wouldn't load on TW site

I think these are exactly what I'm looking for! Can switch hooks and the head isn't fixed. These look amazing

War baits makes some mean heads.  The hook is very stout and they were originaly made for salt water.  If your looking for big fish these will be ready for anything you throw at them.

I have the swim jigs and a few of the regular heads I bought on line...

I like to use the Keitech Swing Impact 4" on a 3/8 oz underspin to give the swimbait a little flash.

I personally have never seen a jig head make enough of a difference to warrant using anything other than plain ball head jigs. If I was pro fishing for a living maybe but since I'm not Gama round ball head in the proper weight.

Those are the Picasso smartmouth jig head. I bought them about five years ago thinking I would use them and honestly can't say what size. I think 1/4oz 4/0 hook gammy hook I believe.
