Selection would be based on body of water!

Worm, Jig-n-Craw, & spinnerbait ;)

Rod : GLoomis MBR783 IMX

Reel: now that's a tough one, I would have to choose between Chronarch 50 Mg or Daiwa Alphas Ito

Lures:  3/8 oz single Tennessee blade spinnerbait, 5" Curly tail grub, 1/2 oz jig

Shad rap, double tail hula grub, swimjig (with a kalins grub I suppose)

If spinning: 6'3" Legend Tournament + Shimano Stradic 1000

If casting: 6'6" ML Carbonlite + Shimano Chronarch 50e

Lures: 4" Senkos for wacky and "weightless" TX, Yamamoto

Shad Shape Worms for drop shotting, and I might also add

a spinnerbait for the third as I'm working them in to my

repertoire again, with more success than before.

I didn't know they made booyah pond magics in 1/4 ounce I thought 3/16 was as heavy as they got.

Exactly ^^^

Would definitely want to know where I was going first before I made a precise decision.

But if I had to pick something different from Catt see below:

  1. Mann's Baby 1-Minus or another crankbait like a Bandit Series 100, Bomber Square A 3/8oz., or a square bill
  2. Seibert Dredge Brush Jig 1/2oz. with a Baby Paca Craw trailer
  3. Either a Original Culprit worm 10" or a 8" Mann's Jelly worm

Rod: Fenwick Aetos 7' Medium / Heavy

Reel: Lew's Tournament MB 7:1

Line: Big Game 15 lb.

A TFO 6'9" med spinning rod paired with a Okuma rtx 30s. 5" senko, ned rig, spinnerbait.

You are correct, I meant one of their other lines of spinnerbaits.  Point is that a small spinnerbait, whether it's 1/8 or 3/16 or 1/4, can produce when other lures can't.  My bad

Medium action spinning rod and a reel with 10lb fireline.

Lures 5" kalins grub, Rons Craw if have to choose one color and a tube in water red if had to choose a color. Both would be fished on slider heads. Bandit 100 and color would be Firetiger.

If not locked into the rigging, I would also use some heavier jigs to more effectively fish deep water with the grub and jig.

5 inch senko

Berkley Pitbull crankbait

6' ML spinning rod, CI4+ 1000 reel, 15lb braid w/ 6 or 8lb floro leader.  I know this would limit me a lot but I prefer wading streams to fishing big water and would rather go for numbers rather then size most days in any case.

For lures, it would be tough to pick;

1) Ned rig made from a half zlinker and a Gopher #2 1/16oz head.

2) Zoom Super Fluke on a 3/0 SkipGap hook

3) 1/6oz RoosterTail inline spinner

There's a good argument to having a spinning rod with some 4" stick worms, Ned rigs and trick worms, but right now I'm trying to improve my skills with baitcasters and pretending the fish are aggressive
