Super User whitwolf Posted February 19, 2017 Super User Posted February 19, 2017 I live in the Western part of the state but looking at a map you're somewhat(It's all relative) close to Falls Lake, Jordan Lake, Lake Gaston, and several small bodies of water. You are right smack dab in the middle of two of NC's many reservoirs with one more less than an hour south of you.. Kerr is in your backyard, Gaston is east of you and right down US HWY 1 is Falls Lake. Oddly they are totally different from one another even though they are that close together... Quote
