paul. Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 hey guys. i normally don't wait until feb. to start the new year's fishing, but my schedule just didn't allow me to go until this month rolled around. so i tried to make up for lost time. not the big fish bonanza i had hoped for, but i've been fortunate enough to catch a few over 5 and even some nice bluegill. here's some good ones i was able to get decent pix of. i hope winter fishing is going well for y'all. 16 Quote

Super User A-Jay Posted February 19, 2017 Super User Posted February 19, 2017 Oh Boy ~ Somebody hide the bass. Paul's at it again. Nice toads right there Congrats A-Jay Quote
Super User Darren. Posted February 19, 2017 Super User Posted February 19, 2017 Dang, Paul! Nice bass and a hossy blue gill! I went out for first time in Feb today and could only manage an 18" pickerel in 2 hours!! Success because it was NOT a skunk day! But I'd take your ladies any day of the week!! Psst - @A-Jay, the pickerel was on a white pond magic spinnerbait (3/16 oz), NOT a wacky rig. 1 Quote

Despite all this wacky rig bait stuff, you're not foolin me - I know darn well that you rourinely dabble in the dark side of moving baits - probably more than you're willing to admit ~ It's probably always ugly, it; probably always incudes some screaming out loud and then there may even be a few of them law enforcement fellas from down state stopping by - just to say 'hey'. So there ya go - even the big eyes in the sky are got you & your wacky rigging crew . . . . . . . . It's all about the whacky . . . . . . . . . . .. . . .. 1 Quote
