Been thinking about a new rod for throwing senkos and some other soft plastics and maybe lighter jigs. Will probably get the 853C JWR - trying to decide between the GLX and NRX.

Looking for two rods, a rod for light jigs (NRX 852C) and a new DS rod.

Either actually buying my own Dobyns 805/6, so my buddy can have his back, or trading in my DX745 for something smaller.

My new GLX DSR822 will be here on Thursday. Thinking of the new Megabass Orochii XXX Oneten Special sometime this season but looking forward to seeing a picture of roadwarrior's jerkbait road.

Good looking jig rod.  Going with a 2-peice?

Yeah, but I'll never take it apart. I've owned other 2pc jdm rods and once they're together you would never know. For some reason that specific rod line is all 2pc.

Absolutely no plans at this point to add another rod to the arsenal - I have plenty. Might consider a new reel before long though B)

Another dropshot rod would be a good guess.  Maybe a bluegill rod.  Not entirely sure.

Custom built by the mob!?

Not exactly true to the OP but...I had a mishap with a telescoping, plano bazooka rod tube last year and now I have to replace the following (makes me sick to even type this)....

A 7ft mh St Croix Legend Xtreme

A 6'8 m spinning St Croix Legend Tourney

A 6'10 m spinning St Croix Rage

A 7'0 mh Shimano Crucial

Thank God for reduced replacement costs....

If this didn't happen, I would've went after a new bladed jig rod.  Maybe something in the 7'3 to 7'6 range, mh - h, preferably glass.

man i couldn't fish that damiki rig if i tried, watching the bass live and seeing all of them do it for a few days was enough to turn me off of it.  but yeah, that'd be the guy to build the custom!

Just bought another Avid 3 days ago.  Didn't need it but it was 30% off so I couldn't just leave it there!

Next rod is likely to be a 2 pc spinning for use in my float tube.  The updated Cabela's Fish Eagle will get the nod here.  Probably 7' M or MH...haven't decided yet.  Great rod for $70!!

Just ordered the new FR806SB, but they won't be in Tackle Warehouse until Feb 21. My next rod will be for jigs and lighter flipping applications in light cover.

I just got myself another cadting MH/F daiwa tatula and like it alot, fish with it a few time and caught 7 fish already. The next rod might be another tatula but thinking of ML/F for 1/8 oz stuff for crappies to match my new alphas.

A light action spinning Rod for farting around in creeks. Need to research more, want something that's truly a fast action. Most rods that will drift down to 1/32oz or so are too parabolic or whippy.
