I think its 50:1. I had a old 25 horse 67' evinrude on a jon boat and it was a 50:1 ratio, and rember to much oil is better then not enough

Yea i have a 1969 and it is 50:1

Even the older motors that used to recommend heavy mixes of oil can run a 50:1 ratio in TC-W3 oil.  Reason being, in the early days of two strokes they didn't have oils they have now.  Back in those 25:1 ratios those heavy mixes were needed because it was common to use 30W non detergent motor oil, the new oils have much greater lubricating properties than what was available back then.

Well let's do some math: There's a 128ozs in a gallon. 3.5 x 50 gives you enough for a 175ozs so if you divide 50 into 128 you would need 2.56ozs for a gallon for a 50 to 1 mix or for every 50ozs of fuel you would need 1oz of oil. You could get away with 3ozs per gallon. Hope this helps. 8-)
