Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted February 13, 2017 Global Moderator Posted February 13, 2017 Just wondering how the Big O is fishing? What pattern are they in right now and will be in, in the next two weeks? What are they being caught on? Thanks! Quote
IndianaFinesse Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 I'm going to take a not-so wild guess, you're looking for information for your fantasy fishing, not a planned trip there. Quote Quote

Dingdingdingding...I think we have a winner. You guessed correctly that this post was about fantasy fishing and not actual fishing. Quote
OCdockskipper Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 12poundbass, I think I can help you. Word on the street is that the water level on Okeechobee was raised about 25 feet, so now all of the grass is way underwater. All of the big fish are being caught either dropshotting or with helicopter lures. I would suggest you load up your fantasy team with guys who have never fished in Florida and who specialize in vertical fishing. The easiest way to identify those anglers is to find the ones with the lowest percentage next to their name. Good Luck!! 2 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted February 14, 2017 Super User Posted February 14, 2017 Man that helicopter lure is deadly this time of year at Okeechobee. Guides down there throw nothing but it. Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted February 14, 2017 Author Global Moderator Posted February 14, 2017 It was worth a shot. ? Quote

I'm thinking out side the box on this one and I'm going to pick the guys who specialize in trolling! Just keep that between me and you though! ? 1 Quote
SFL BassHunter Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 The fish are in what I like to call the "Water Pattern". You throw a bait in the water and you may or may not catch a fish. 1 Quote
