chattooga_ basser Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 My all time favourite bass fishing lure. Just thinking about fishing a curly tail worm brings back some awesome boyhood fishing memories. Quote
Airman4754 Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 I will throw a 7" tequilla sunrise on a jig rig occasionally. I drag a 10-12" worm constantly in the summer. Quote
WPCfishing Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 I still have Black Mann worms from years back too. I throw them but not nearly as much as I use to. I like Culprit too. Quote
Josh Smith Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 The Texas Rig works best with Mann's Jelly Worms. I need to order more. I'll nearly out. Josh Quote
Super User Catt Posted February 15, 2017 Super User Posted February 15, 2017 Gator Tail has no equal! Zoom's is nice but not the same "denseness ", if that's the word I'm looking for. Rebel Ringworm in blue is what I caught my first bass & first limit of bass on Toledo Bend...still throw ringworms today. Lonnie Stanley what can you say other than legendary! First to use skirt bands, first to make multi-colored skirts, teamed up with Don Link to invent the silicone and metal flake skirts. 1 Quote

A couple years ago I bought a 100-count bag of Jelly Worms in watermelon chartreuse. In hindsight, it's kind of a washed-out color and I'm sorry I didn't order Black Grape Roger Rolo, I just ordered and received an order from Mann's couple days ago--took the 8" black Augertails and 8" Black Grape Jelly worms with me to fish Big Crooked yesterday and had a very good day using them. Really like the Gambler 7" and Culprit 7.5" worms but I really love the Mann's worms--augertails and jelly worms both--always have good results with both 11 hours ago, Catt said: Gator Tail has no equal! Catt you are so right-was sad to see the Gator Tail stop being made. Zoom does make a similar worm but it is just not the same as the old Gator Tails 2 Quote
