Super User A-Jay Posted February 10, 2017 Super User Posted February 10, 2017 Day 2 is in the books. Field gets cut to the top 51 anglers moving on to fish day 3 on Saturday. Some Surprising names found both at the top of the leaderboard and especially below the cut line. On My. A-Jay Quote
Super User Jeff H Posted February 11, 2017 Super User Posted February 11, 2017 Went and had a look. I'm never surprised by "unexpected's" up front but there sure is a passel of very good hooks getting cut! Quote
38 Super Fan Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 Weights have been a little heavier than I expected, especially day one after a big front. Cherokee has always been very up and down for me, it's fun to see how the Pros do out there. Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted February 11, 2017 Global Moderator Posted February 11, 2017 A lot of big names didn't fair too well today which killed my fantasy fishing. Quite a few did good Thursday then bombed today. There are quite a few "rookies" at top. Quote
Super User WRB Posted February 11, 2017 Super User Posted February 11, 2017 Haven't been following the BM Elite or FLW for a awhile but the top 50 looks like a combination of both tours. Several of the MLF contestants are doing well. Tom Quote
JoePhish Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 I have a kayak tournament there next weekend. Does anyone have a map to the general area the leaders are catching fish? I'm trying to figure out which ramp to launch from. Quote

Bait Runner Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Brandon Palaniuk is putting in work for my fantasy team. He's my top guy right now. In fact, I think he's just about all I have left. KVD didn't do well, which I think surprised a lot of people, and I wish John Crews could bring score up from the other day. He's doing well I think, for right now. Guess we'll just have to keep waiting and watching. Quote

I usually see a lot of kayaks launching at panther creek state park, and I have caught some nice ones around there before. But I suppose they are nomadic and following shad right now so I would say just trust what the screen is telling you, at least for finding baitfish. 1 Quote
Super User WRB Posted February 14, 2017 Super User Posted February 14, 2017 Jacob Wheeler won the event catching Smallmouth bass using VMC Moon Eye jig with pearl white 3 fluke type trailer. Palaniuk started at and finished in 12th place. Full details on BM site. Tom Quote
