I found a St Croix Mojo Bass casting rod on sale for $75 so I grabbed it. It's a 7'11" heavy powered rod with a moderate fast taper. The rod is made for flipping into heavy cover but with me living in Indiana there isn't a lot of heavy cover in the ponds and lakes that I fish. I need some suggestions on what I can use it for besides flipping.

for a rod that big, you're really only looking at flipping heavy cover and big swimbaits for applications

Deep cranking and if you can't use it for that take you may want to consider taking it back. I'm sure we all have rods sitting around that we don't use because they were good deals. I know I do.

Or because we compulsively buy rods reels and tackle.

Swimbaits, deep diving. Ranks and possibly a rig?

If I could only post how many big bass I have horsed on a frog with this rod

You beat me to it. A heavy power m/f rod is ideal for froggin'.  It's also good for C-rigs as the length is a big benefit.

I'm betting the odds are really good that the OP figured out what to do with that rod by now...

KnappBassin93's post is a response to a thread that's been dead for four years.  ?

(I use a 7'3" HMF for frogging.)
