LxVE Bassin Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 I found a St Croix Mojo Bass casting rod on sale for $75 so I grabbed it. It's a 7'11" heavy powered rod with a moderate fast taper. The rod is made for flipping into heavy cover but with me living in Indiana there isn't a lot of heavy cover in the ponds and lakes that I fish. I need some suggestions on what I can use it for besides flipping. Quote

Fishin' Fool Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 Deep cranking and if you can't use it for that take you may want to consider taking it back. I'm sure we all have rods sitting around that we don't use because they were good deals. I know I do. 3 Quote

desmobob Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 I'm betting the odds are really good that the OP figured out what to do with that rod by now... KnappBassin93's post is a response to a thread that's been dead for four years. ? (I use a 7'3" HMF for frogging.) Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted July 30, 2021 Posted July 30, 2021 C rig, frog, big jigs on ledges, A rigs, big cranks. Basically anything that falls within the lure weight range Quote
