Replacing stock fish finder with Helix 9 SI GPS. Will have to be a side mount. My boat is a LOWE Stinger 175. Would like to see any pictures of a sonar this size mounted on a LOWE. Also. How do you cover the hole that is going to be left in th,e dash ? Thanks, Craig.

Put a metal or plexiglass plate over the dash hole and make a bracket to attach to it and use the Helix 9 on the dash.

I have used a Humminbird Helix 5, Helix 7, 798, 1198, ONIX 10 and Helix 12 on my Tracker dash.

I removed the gas gauge to get a mount surface and have it setup to use a RAM ball mount or unit gimbal mount.

This is using the Helix 12

This is with a 1198:

This is using the RAM before I had the bracket made. Not strong enough for rough water though and what I used with the Helix 5 and Helix 7

VTI had the same problem on my Crestliner VT19. I called Crestliner and they sent me a piece to cover the hole. same material and color to match the console.
