Super User Cgolf Posted February 4, 2017 Super User Posted February 4, 2017 Just saw that Cabela's is now carrying unpainted strike King cranks, unfortunately not the RES. I am curious though how these would fish unpainted in clear water? Any thoughts? Quote
Super User Angry John Posted February 4, 2017 Super User Posted February 4, 2017 Tons of people are painting baits and its a way for them to sell a product for people who want to do it themselves. I have not seen the sk bait but i am seeing more and more companies doing it. Quote
wdp Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 Wish they'd come out with a Baby 1 minus clear/unpainted. 1 Quote

Will be curious to see if other stores get them too. They really need to do the RES in the clear too. As for other brands, I would take a 20 pack of clear bandit 100s Quote

It was a normal one, that I sanded all the paint off. It didn't take long at all. And it's my #1 One Minus Crankbait now, covered in chew marks 2 Quote

It doesn't take long to chip the paint of the chrome ones, especially on a couple lakes I fish. They absolutely crush a chrome with dark back. Have had a few days where the chrome paint was mostly chipped off after only 1 day on the water. ? 13 hours ago, William Rossi said: There is a KO blank available.
