Ray K Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 I don't do a lot of flipping/pitching/frogging and I don't do a lot of inshore fishing for Reds, Snook, etc. But, I do enough of both so that I'd like to come up with a rod that will serve both purposes reasonably well. The reel will be a Garcia REVO Inshore baitcaster with 30 or 50 lb braid. Please give me some suggestions for strength/action etc. and best brands to consider. I'd like to stay in the $100 to $150 range for a new or slightly used pre-owned rod. Thanks. Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted February 3, 2017 Super User Posted February 3, 2017 No, you may get a specific suggestion. The post I referenced contains reviews and comments of many rods at various pricing points. Quote
Fishin' Fool Posted February 3, 2017 Posted February 3, 2017 Dobyns Fury either 734C or 735C, probably the latter. Quote
Super User fishnkamp Posted February 3, 2017 Super User Posted February 3, 2017 I agree with the Dobyns 735C That will run you around $110 Quote
