Anyone going to the maumee river walleye run in spring!? I've never been but my buddy is dying to take me, so I bought some waders and yet another setup for jiggin walleyes. Let know me know if anyone's going as I have no clue where to go or park all I know is it is always packed!

Former roomie of mine and good friend lives up there and attends.  He has a blast.

I have fished the run a few times and always had a good time. It can get real crazy up there especially if your not paying attention on the drifts. It's pretty easy to get tangled up with the anglers around you. Be prepared for lots of hang ups too. It's always a good idea to have plenty of weights and grubs with you along with a spare spool of line. And what ever you do don't keep a snagged eye even if you don't think anyone will notice it. There are dnr everywhere watching like a hawk it's just not worth it

There are a ton of spots to go that are really popular. Most popular is probably Jerome road near sidecut park. I'm the person CybrSlydr was talking about.  I can let you know of more areas to go and park if u would like.

Yea I've been watching youtube videos and it looks packed. Me and a friend are going, he's been once I've never been so we're both kind of new to it! Can't wait to get after it! Soon as the weather brakes I'm hitting the water...some water somewhere!

Speaking of some water, somewhere as I said in my last post...anyone open to Co anglers? I'd love more than anything to go out on a boat and learn how to fish that way! I've never done it before and defiantly don't have the funds for a boat at the moment. I understand that theirs some weirdos out there and it's hard to trust anyone but it's worth a shot! I've been trying hard to find bank fishing tournaments but have had no luck! Any advice would be great! Thanks guys!
