I recently noticed that Booyah Baits became a sponsor on the site and was wondering if it was ever officially announced.

I looked for the thread that Glenn posted showing off a few bankroll jigs, but it seems like it has been deleted..? A few people implied this might mean a new partnership but it was never comfirmed. As usual a few members asked about BR member discounts.

Has anyone heard anything regarding the matter? SeaGuar, and now potentially Booyah.. nice off season!

Looks like you have officially announced it. It is interesting that the original thread is gone. Perhaps Glenn can repost the jigs now that it is official.

I was wondering why Glenn was showing off any jigs other than seiberts...  I am also curious to see if booyah suddenly becomes one of the top two manufacturers of jigs alongside seibert (it used to be north star jigs that everyone loved), at least on these forums.

They are officially site sponsors now, but there's currently no discount available. They're very affordable baits to start with though.

Thank you for your input on what you have seen with Pradco (Booyah) on the site.  It shows me that you are really engaged and paying attention and we appreciate that very much.  I wanted to give you a little background on Booyah so that you can understand what we were doing.

A couple of years ago, Pradco was a big supporter of the site with several of their brands...including Booyah.  They have a whole new marketing team in place and we want to show them how impactful BassResource can be for them.  So, what you saw, was a “courting” period, if you will.  It looks like they will now be coming back as a paid partner in 2017, so what you saw helped.  This is great news as it allows us to continue to provide this site to you and the other avid bass anglers free of charge.

Please remember, anything that you can do through the site to support our partners will help us to continue to provide as well as update BassResource for our followers and members.

Thanks again for your input and engagement!

I've always liked booyah jigs and have said before they make the best budget spinnerbait. The jigs are really nice but far from custom like seiburt. I have always been a fan of booyah. You can always count on a pond magic in a small pond to catch some fish.

War Eagles are around the same price and are much better in my opinion.

War eagle which is one of my favorite is a little more expensive running you 7 bucks  booyah are 4 to 5 bucks there not the same price! If you look at the recent thread on what is the best spinnerbait I voted war eagle as one I also added that booyah was the best budget spinnerbait and most productive for the price.

Agreed. I love War Eagle spinnerbaits, but they're considerably more expensive and less durable than the Booyah spinnerbaits.

I have a box of Booyah baits they sent me, that I can't wait to try out. Jigs, spinnerbaits, frogs, and lipless. All I can say now is they all look good. The water at my local lakes is frigid chocolate milk. Very cold, but not iced over, and extremely dirty. Lots of rain this winter.

Agreed, it was my most productive spinnerbait for the Nebraska ponds that I fish. Love tossing the 3/16 ounce bait with a small trailer.

Just wanted to also say "thanks" to Pradco for supporting the site.

Regarding the size of the company:  given the skill and tenacity of bait monkeys everywhere, I am sure we will find a way to support all the sponsors.  I will!

They may be a big company, but they deserve a lot of credit in my experience:  they have great customer service if there is ever a question or problem with a product, no matter how small.  They produce effective baits that the working guy or gal can find locally and afford. Their facebook sites are updated regularly and promote stewardship and enjoyment of the sport.  Plus, they support some great Pros.

+1 from me. I keep a couple 3/8 oz Booyah spinners in my arsenal. It's my go to spinnerbait & good price.

Agreed very much.  With a small grub trailer the lure ends up right around 5/16oz and casts a mile on light tackle and even my M rods will get it a good ways out there.  They run very well at low speeds which is something I often have trouble with when using other small spinnerbaits.
