Favorite Monafilament Line ?

I'm looking to buy a larger spool of monofilament line to use for my bass fishing baitcasters and spinning outfits. I usually use the Berkley Trilene XT in the low visibility green but it gets harder and harder to find in my local tackle stores. I just cant justify buying Flurocarbon or braid when I have never had problems fishing with my 10# or 12# mono.  Most of the lakes that I fish do have grass and timber and a few rock bluffs. Any suggestions on your favorite line would be appreciated.

I like Stren Original, Sufix Elite and Sufix Seige

amazon has 3000 yard spools of the xt for $46-57 depending on 10 or 12 lb test... 

I use Sufix Elite in 10# for my mono applications, and berkley trilene big game in 12# for backing braid ($6.79 for 1175 yds)

Stren original is great line, also Trilene Big Game is the best bang for your buck monofilament line in my opinion.

I have seen the Sufix Elite and they also have it in my favorite low visibility green. I was thinking about giving it a shot.

Berkley Big Game is my primary line of choice for mono.  I'll buy Siege or XT if they go on sale.

I am a fan of Trilene XT as well. I throw just about everything with 14 or 17 pound test XT on a baitcasting combo. Trilene Big Game is a good option as well. Try matching the "diameter" of your 12 pound XT when you choose Big Game.

Big Game is pretty much all I've used since I've been fishing. I've tried braid and fluorocarbon, but the price to performance ratio is too good for me to justify buying anything else.

I used to use Trilene or Stren, whichever was on sale. Tried Sufix on a buddies recommendation and am in the process of switching all my line to it. Less wind knots on spinning gear and smoother on baitcasters.

Another vote for 'Berkley Trilene Big Game' (my hands-down favorite in saltwater).

Frankly you'd be hard put to beat your current brand: 'Berkley Trilene XT'

(It's always available at Tackle Warehouse).

I have settled on Big Game on a baitcaster but my experience is that it isn't so great on a spinning reel. My spinning reels get Stren original.

Berkley green Big Game comes in 1/4 lb size spools at very reasonable price point and a good choice for where you fish. Sunline Super Natural is smaller dia and has less memory than Big Game but come in 300 yard spools at a good price point.

Sunline Armillo Deifier Nylon is a top quality mono at a premium price point, small dia, low stretch, low memory with good abrasion resistance, I use this line for swimbaits.
