This is the Rooster but virtually all the Rage Tail baits can be jig hooked including the Space Monkey.

As for where & when, I say Anytime - Anywhere  ..  ..  .. Just Add Water.

the space monkey and smoking rooster are favorites for pickerel around these parts. I tend to not use them for that reason.

I have a pack that I have yet to use, but I figure it is like most Rage baits and creature baits...You can fish them on any rig at any depth, it reminded me of the EELIMINATOR which is a bait I really liked from SK if you take off the arms.

I figure it will be a good pitching bait, or on a weighted hook, split shot rig.

I'm a Huge fan of the Eeliminator - and I like the ones with no arms too.

Ya know, I thought more than once about trying these but never bought a pack!

Think I'll pick one up.

I use Space Monkeys both Texas rigged and as jig trailers.  I haven't tried them Carolina rigged yet, but I understand that can be deadly.

How bout SwimJig trailer ?  GodBless & Thanks to EveryBody

I'm a big fan of the space monkey.  It's great as a pitch/t-rig bait, jig trailer, swim jig trailer or even swam by itself like a toad style bait.

I have used it, but I like the Rage Grub, and Rage Menace better on a swim jig. Rage swimmers are on the short list of new stuff to try as swimjig trailers this coming season. What I love the most about the Rage products as swimjig trailers, is they work at ANY speed, and are NOT affected by skirt bulk, or the blade turbulence of a chatterbait, or any other things that hinder a lot of other trailers action. I have tried to make other products work as swimjig trailers, but the Rage tail stuff outfished them all ....by a large margin. I am not one to heap praise on a bait for producing fish, as a lot of times it's the guy holding the rod that makes stuff work....but this is one exception..Rage stuff is just flat out  better when you need a bait with action built in.........period.
