Luke Barnes Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 Ive shared that I'm a US Army vet, iraq 05-06 then 07-08. Just wanted to let everyone know if they ever need someone to vent to, cuss out, cry to, whatever. DM me and I'll gladly talk any time I can. Veteran suicide is not talked about enough. Good thing we all picked the best hobby for letting it all go and enjoying the water. 8 Quote
InfantryMP Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 I did some grunt work 11B from 2006-2017. Few times over the big pond. The Military bouncing me around a lot of places makes it fun for fishing! 4 Quote

gunsinger Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 I served in the US Army from 1980 to Oct of 1989 taking a 60 day terminal leave. I was a SSGT when I left working in the 98H30 MOS. After doing basic at Dix, I spent 3 years in Augsburg, followed by a 2 year stint as an AIT instructor at Ft. Devens. After a 1 year tour at Camp Hovey in S. Korea, I finished my military career with 3 years at Ft. Meade, MD. I enjoyed my Army days. Sometimes I wish I'd done at least another 10 but that wasn't what the Lord had in store for me. 4 Quote
