I am in the market for a new reel.

I want the best reel money can buy. Money is not the issue here, but I just don't want to spend money on TWO high end reels because I have other fishing necessities I still need to buy as well.

I've done my research, but there isn't enough information out there because these reels have been released relatively recently.

Of these two reels which one do you think is better and why? I'm all ears for anyones answer, but would especially like to hear your opinion if you own both.

Thanks in advance!

I have both. What applications are you looking to use them for? The Metanium is a good all around reel that does everything well. I like my steez for pitching, flipping, bottom contact stuff.

You can find a Metanium MGL for around $300 and many including myself believe it to be superior to the 13 Met. I have heard lots of good experiences with the Steeze SV TWS but no first hand experience.

Antares, Conquest, Metanium MGL, Steez TWS.  They are the best reels money can buy.

The Steez SV TWS would be my choice.  When you get up in that price range anything from Daiwa or Shimano will be awesome though.

I have both, the 15 Met DC and Steez. The Steez "feels" smoother, very lite, casts small baits very well. My Met seems more sturdy, looks better, imo, and a joy to use. If I had to choose, I would choose both, you can't go wrong with either.

Metanium MGL is my favorite reel at the moment.  Heard great things about the Steez too.  I really like the versatility and smoothness of the Metanium.
