You can put most anything on a shakyhead. Only thing I've tried that didn't work was a tube. Lots of different jigs out there, which one you choose is mainly personal preference. I like the screwlock style football heads. Some guys like the spot remover type, others like the ones that the worm is put on the hook shank and is kind of like a pegged T rig.

My personal favorite worms are the Netbait Tmac, Zoom trick worm, and Zoom magnum finesse worm. Recently been doing well with a Zoom baby brush hog on a shakyhead though.

These "what are the best" questions for some reason, really get under my skin lately. It's like people think that there is some secret combination of things that some people know that are the magic keys for unlocking the mysteries of the universe.

C'mon people, there are a million and one good bait's and heads, and they all catch fish. The secret is not what is on the end of the line in the water, it's what is on the other end between your ears. These threads always ramble on with people listing there favorites.............and there is nothing wrong with that.................ughhhhh I need to go fishing LOL it's been a while.

Never mind me, just a grumpy fat man being grumpy today.

I just picked up some of those Megastrike heads with EWG. Though I am more interested in power shakey rather than finesse.

Siebert Outdoors Zenith shakeyhead. As for what to throw, use your Imagination and go from there. If that doesn't help start with a Zoom trick worm or finesse worm.
