All the big gators are male. 1 Quote

Buckeye Ron Posted January 18, 2017 Author Posted January 18, 2017 I wonder how fast a gator that size can move in the water? Apparently fast enough to not miss any meals. Quote

Super User N Florida Mike Posted January 19, 2017 Super User Posted January 19, 2017 We had one down the river that was supposedly 16 ft." old tail light " He was named that because his eyes were like wide like tail lights and glowing red in the light. An old gator trapper had several run ins with him but never got him. There are several newspaper articles in the Florida times union about it. The trapper was Bubba Stratton. 2 Quote
Super User soflabasser Posted January 20, 2017 Super User Posted January 20, 2017 What a beauty, love seeing big alligators like that one in the places I fish. I have a spot where I have seen several Alligators in excess of 12 feet, with one of them that has to be well over 14 feet. Best thing about this place is that it is illegal to hunt the Alligators, so they can live their lives in peace. 2 Quote

Super User Catch and Grease Posted January 24, 2017 Super User Posted January 24, 2017 Looks like a faked video too me... if it is real then it's a monster! Quote
Super User soflabasser Posted January 26, 2017 Super User Posted January 26, 2017 The camera angle makes the alligator look bigger, but that alligator is big one without a doubt. There are places in South Florida where you can see +10 footers almost every day, with a couple of them +12 feet. Quote
