Super User webertime Posted December 4, 2018 Super User Posted December 4, 2018 Plano flipside 3714. Usually for traps, fits jigs perfectly. 1 Quote
ItsHardwick Posted December 5, 2018 Posted December 5, 2018 I use this Plano wrap for my jigs. I ran out of room, probably 40-50 finesse jigs and about the same maybe a little less full size casting/flipping/football jigs. So around a hundred total fit great and there’s still room for a-rigs and other stuff in the bottom pocket. It’s actually really huge when you open it all the way up but folds down really small and flat. Has worked awesome for me and saved me a ton of room in my boat which is tiny so every little bit of storage counts. All the pockets are ventilated on the back side too so stuff dries out quickly and I haven’t had any rust issues since I started using it. Highly recommended at less than $15. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Plano_Z-Series_Lure_Wrap/descpage-PZWR.html?from=basres Quote

I liked the idea I saw from this thread of using the spinnerbait plano boxes to organize jigs, but I felt it wasn't too efficient on space. I'm the kind of guy, if I'm goin fishin' and I wanna fish jigs, I grab one box and I'm good to go. This makes packing for shore fishing quicker & easier. I was able to fit 2 of the spinnerbait racks in the right side of the box, and used a crankbait insert for the left side to store plastics. The inserts are prone to lifting out of the box if you're removing a jig with a large "neck" so to speak, nothing a little double stick tape or glue couldn't handle. What box is this? Where did you get the inserts? Link? Quote

Super User Munkin Posted December 6, 2018 Super User Posted December 6, 2018 That jig box looks way to nice to actually use for fishing. Mine looks like bluebasser's in Plano boxes which do not protect the weedguards. Allen Quote

The box popped a few of the guards off of my favorite jigs after a few days of use. Quote

Kevin R Posted December 11, 2018 Posted December 11, 2018 For the taller jigs with longer weedguards, the box itself can bend the weedguards slightly but I've never had an issue with it being too bad. Quote
