Super User Sam Posted January 14, 2017 Super User Posted January 14, 2017 The rain was pouring and there was a big puddle in front of the Bar just outside the American Legion Post. A ragged old Army ground pounder was standing near the edge with a fishing line in the puddle. A curious young Marine Fighter Pilot came over to him and asked what he was doing. "Fishing," the old Sergeant simply said. "Poor old fool," the Marine Officer thought to himself, and he invited the old Army Soldier into the Bar for a drink. As he felt he should start some conversation while they were sipping their whiskey, the haughty Fighter Pilot asked, "And how many have you caught today?" "You're number ten," the old Army Sergeant answered. “2 Air Force, 3 Navy & 5 Marines.” 14 Quote
Ohio Archer Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 HAHAHA! Reminds me of the day we got about 3" of rain in 30 mins at Homestead AFB. Had about 2 - 2 1/2 feet of water in the road. Watched a 4X4 pulling a guy on a surfboard drive passed the house. So I got one of my rods and was casting a spinnerbait across the street onto the golf course. We'll do some crazy stuff, won't we? 2 Quote
