With the terrible weather lately, this has been the status of my Sea Ghost 130.  Up on racks, and getting prepped for the 2017 season.  Are any of you fishing any of the KBF or KBS events this year? How about local kayak tournaments? I'll be fishing tournaments in Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, and Arkansas this year so far. Would love to meet some folks from the site.

Doubtful I'll be hitting any of the kbf series, but I'm all in on Riverbassin. I make it up to Tennessee a couple times a year. Be up on chick march 25th for a good sized kayak fishing tournament.

I never fish tournaments, but I am up to a friendly wager at a boondoggle. Mostly its just bragging rights.

I plan on hitting some kayak tourneys in KS and MO. Not sure about KBF tourneys, I'll have to see how the schedule unfolds. Can't wait to get the 2017 season going though! I will be fishing mostly NEKKA and maybe some MO-Yak tourneys.

They just opened up the sign ups for the MO Yak series. A couple of the stops are also KBF Trail events so that works out fairly well for me.  Good luck to you Wally311

I'm hoping to fish some NEKKA tournaments if I can ever get my schedule to line up. You'd think after 7 years at a place a guy could bid at least 1 weekend day off, but it hasn't worked out that way yet.

I'll be at the Kbf national championship next month then I do all the Kbf regional challenges. One of our local events is a Kbf trail stop also on Cayuga in april. I'm a tournament director for WNY Kbf hoping to partner with the big series this year

@clayton86  That's a Drive for you. I will be there as well, but it is one of the closest lakes I'll be fishing this year. @Bluebasser86 that's one of the advantages to moving to the corporate world, I have weekends off. Of course the disadvantage is in the warm months, I have to share the water with a whole bunch of folks.

Yeah it's a hike. Three of us are leaving Tuesday night driving threw the night then pre fishing wed and Thursday. I'm pumped hoping to order my new fish finder and some stuff this week for the trip.

Well have a safe drive. Might even see you there. It is going to be a pretty crowded event. Two weeks later I'll be at Beaver Lake which will look like a kayak ghost town in comparison.

Wv only has KBF and its only in southern most part of WV...very depressing but im sure it will change.

I recently signed up for my first tournament EVER :) , I'm looking forward to it, win or not.  The first tourney is an online tourney.  Depending how that does, I may sign up for a live tourney.

I signed up for the Ohio, April tourney, BKFT Spring Fling.  It goes from April 1st through April 30th.  It has a $30 entrance fee.  Figured if I lose my a$$, I'm only out $30, and I call it a day. :) It should be fun.

Any other Bass Resource yakkers joining this tourney?

I am not a fan of KBF tournaments for various reasons that there is no need to discuss here.  I wouldn't mind doing some local ones though if my schedule permits.  I haven't done any in quite a few years so it would be fun to do one again.

Good luck on your month long online they can be fun but also get old quick, that being said I do all the ones I can. Didnt win a ton necessarily last year but I placed in all but one and "profited" $1100 last year on them but once you figure in gas and all the soft plastics I went threw that number probably a lot less.

Headed to to the national championship today I'll be in Paris Tennessee by this time tomorrow morning fishing.
