And in the 2017 St.Croix catalog all the mojos are at least $130. Now, I went to st.croix's website and it showed mojos for $120, but when I went to the 2017 catalog via their website, I saw $130 for mojos. You're right. The Mojo's I was looking at said SCII which is strange that they had a ton of older generation rods still out. So that explains why the BassX felt lighter than the Mojo. Quote
FrogFreak Posted July 9, 2017 Posted July 9, 2017 Same thing just happened to me. I compared a new BassX 7'4" H to a similar Mojo rod and found the BassX lighter so I bought the BassX. I later found out the Mojo was last years model. I think I'll get a similar 2017 Mojo and use it for jigging and keep the BassX for frogging. Don't get me wrong, the BassX is an awesome rod for jigging but since I'm in the market for another rod, I'll opt for a new Mojo. Thanks for the advice guys and great topic here. Quote
