Unless they completley redesigned the SV spool, it will be free floating. Stress-free Versatile The new Steez A is not equipped with the sv spool from all the pics I've seen. Quote
THE_Vue's Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Almost look like one of the Tatula SV was green or could of just been the reflection of the water. Quote

Theres a few on google images that looks like it says g1 on the spool and magseal on the side. I could be wrong though. Quote

Super User iabass8 Posted January 11, 2017 Super User Posted January 11, 2017 I wonder.....if its just a less deep tatula spool with a different rotor /color and sv stamped on it? #tatulagate 1 Quote

I need your search engine in my life lmaoo I have 2 CT Type Rs, prob not worth the jump on the spools for me. But a standard CT that's a good upgrade! I may grab one of the reels when they release if @iabass8 doesn't talk me into a couple Steez' ? Quote

Doesn't this seem too good to be true? I didn't think it was possible to have an SV spool /w the spool shaft. Or at least a correctly functional one. Brian seemed to like it though and I'll take his word for it. Might be worth it to just buy an SV spool for folk that have current CTs. Those Tatula spools are ridiculously too deep. Quote
LuckyHandsINC. Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 For anyone interested. A store owner on another forum has said they will be $199. Seems to be more in line with what I was expecting. Quote

Quite a number of users found it to be less than stellar. Then it has issues with poor fit of spool shaft inductor parts hope they fixed that for Tat CT reel. Quote

You can cast both light and heavy baits with it. The magic is in the braking on the spool. It's almost impossible to backlash. Hard to explain it until you've tried one out. Quote
Super User fishwizzard Posted January 16, 2017 Super User Posted January 16, 2017 I have an SV105 and as advertised I can set the breaks to full and cast a senko straight up and let it fall and hit the water with only a few loose coils. I also just got Zillion SV and it will thow loose coils if I have the breaks maxed and just let the lure fall so idk whats up, but I have not had time to mess with it much. Quote
