Bassfishin91 Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Woke up yesterday around 6 to go fishing with this cold weather. It was in the low 50's figured i will try out jig fishing for the first time in a couple canals in south Miami. I was throwing a Strike king Pro model jig (blue/black) with a creature bait as a trailer. After a few hours of no bites gave up for the day. Later on in the day i took my girlfriend to try another spot with a super spook junior and a kvd square bill crank bait with no luck. decided to get some shiners and tried a new spot and had better luck. Caught a peacock bass and my girlfriend caught a nice sized tarpon. 3 Quote

It was in the mid 60's but the water was colder. If the weather drops below that its some type of miracle. 1 Quote
