i used it years ago but that was before Shimano got involved. My best suggestion is to contact your local dealer if you have one. If you do not have a local dealer, than I would call G Loomis directly.

When I had a broken GL3 rod my local dealer charged me like $75 dollars and handed me a new rod. They then dealt with getting their rod replacement. Now I am not sure about the cost, it was at least 3 years ago and it could have been less.

Research the Xpeditor program they have. I replaced a broken IMX rod for $75. I want to say with your NRX rod you get one free replacement. I'm not sure if you need the original purchase receipts for that.

Don't bother with the expiditor program. Just send them in for warranty replacement. I've never had an issue or been questioned. I sent a glx cbr missing 4 ft of the rod, and imx 844 mbr with a cracked guide ring. And multiple Shimano rods and they've been replaced no questions asked. Never had receipts either. They still have the best service imo.

if repair/replace doesn't fall under the warranty, I can tell you that Expeditor is hassle free. Ive had to use it twice. They ship first!

The last time I used Expeditor it cost $100 but was fast and operator error not warranty because they don't warranty stupid.

They don't question it. U fill out the paperwork. Send rod in. Wait. Get new rod. It's really that simple. The imx mbr I sent was very old, had a weibe reel seat. I wrote on the form, I don't know what happend to the guides. Just noticed some were cracked. No problems.
