Landis Carrier Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Looking to do some more exploring at hard to get to lakes here in Eastern Pa. Any suggestions on a good, reliable and sturdy kayak cart? Trails will be unpaved hiking type trails. I'd like to purchase one, really not interested in building one. Thanks! Quote
Super User the reel ess Posted January 8, 2017 Super User Posted January 8, 2017 I just drag mine by the front handle if I'm alone, which I usually am. I can carry it by the two side handles, but only do that on pavement. If I used one of those carts that flips over onto the rear of the kayak, I'd lose the space I use for my milk crate. I have it rigged with 5 vertical rod holders and use it to hold a tackle box, soft plastics bags and used plastics, etc. (trash). I have even put a Playmate cooler in it and kept some fish. Quote

Here ya go: http://paddlelogic.com/trailtreker-kayak-carts.html I based my DIY yak on his design, but I'd buy this in a NY minute if I had the $. Much better built, floats, goes where you want it. 1 Quote

Nice!! Price wasn't as bad as I thought. Looks like it will go anywhere and easy to use. Christmas cash burning a hole in my pocket! 1 Quote
