I believe the AOY points are already updated. Wasn't KVD in second place prior to today?

1. Palaniuk - 729

2. Wheeler - 689

3. Ashley - 689 (Don't sleep on him either, he had 18-14 today)

.......

.......

8. KVD - 636

Nope - AOY points won't get updated until an hour or two after today's weigh-in. Last event knocked KVD out of the top few spots down to where he sits now. He'll drop even further after today, I'm guessing

I was misinformed then. Thanks for clarifying.

Wheeler's already made 32 of them up, and there are still over 35 guys to weigh ? Tomorrow will be a critical day for both of them.

Wouldn't that be amazing if Wheeler won AOY his first year? He's no rookie but still...

Lot of fishing left, but looks like Wheeler will take a 1 point lead in AOY after day 1. Palaniuk in the better position to gain back ground though, just like last event between  Days 1 and 2. Making it a race, at least.

Palaniuk is nowhere near out of this, and I'm not just saying that becuase I have him on my team. I also picked him for the St. Lawrence. Do you remember where he was after day one there? I believe it was 72. He then weighed in the biggest bag of the tournament on day two (25 pounds) and vaulted into the top twelve. Here, he's at a place he knows well and he's around big fish. Like, huge fish. The weights are so stacked that he could easily be right at the top tomorrow.

Looks like my play it safe strategy worked fairly well for day one...although lots of people have a similar roster to mine.

The weights are stacked, man. Anything can happen.

Fletcher is in 100th? This is basically his home lake. I was worried about Tak but so far so good. Didn't think I'd have to worry about Fletcher.

Yeah, I looked at everyone's lineups. I also try to guess your picks - I knew your bucket A from the very first time I looked at the rosters.

I switched out Martens for Shryock right before the event started. What a terrible mistake.

I did the same thing, except in addition to swapping martens out for Alton jones, I also traded palinuik in for Wheeler.  I should just not mess with my line up after two days before the deadline, those last minute decisions are not doing me any favors.

I started to trade Palinuik for Feider at the last minute, but went with my initial gut feeling (dart throw).

My entire team must be out of cel phone  range .

Shryock better be out of range. He's still showing a goose egg today...

I had 100% confidence that Palaniuk would be close to the top twelve today. He's fishing out of his mind right now and he always gives 110% on day two of the tournament.
