Super User Gundog Posted April 30, 2017 Super User Posted April 30, 2017 Things that surprised me were that Ott Defoe on day 3 only caught 1 fish and how KVD came from 60th to 3rd place. Quote
ksboy Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Big shoutout to the VanDams. Picked both this time out!!!!!!!!!!! The other two (Tharp and Horton)did OK but not top 12. Now on to 7AM to see who closes this deal. 1 Quote
IndianaFinesse Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 I hadn't realized that it was postponed to today, I kept refreshing my page this morning trying to figure out how my one remaining pick did yesterday. Except they didn't even fish yesterday. 2 Quote
Super User Montanaro Posted May 1, 2017 Super User Posted May 1, 2017 Im doing fairly well in FLW...usually better at BASS. I find flw much more difficult but they changed their system around this year to allow you to pick more top anglers and not 3 or 4 guys worth 5 dollars or less. I suppose the playing field is so even in BASS that anyone can be a contender. Quote
jhoffman Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 I made a seasonal top ten in FLW in 2015 and a seasonal top ten in BASS in 2016(tacklewarehouse league). This year I am not doing great, the guys who should be doing well havent performed well. It is what it is. Quote
Super User Montanaro Posted May 1, 2017 Super User Posted May 1, 2017 I just wanna win one tournament or at least one league tournament. Then probabaly just not play again cuzz it can stress me out haha Quote
Super User buzzed bait Posted May 1, 2017 Super User Posted May 1, 2017 man only way i could have done worse was to have no team at all!!!! i went from 98.5% to 89.9% like that! Quote
Super User Montanaro Posted May 1, 2017 Super User Posted May 1, 2017 Bahahahahha! I jinxed you 1 Quote

Super User scaleface Posted May 1, 2017 Super User Posted May 1, 2017 i had 2 in the top ten but they were cancelled out by Kennedy . Quote

Rudy523 Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Whats up with Chris Lane this year he was always a good pick in the group D and E but he has fallen off the deep end lately. I had KVD this last week but knew I was in trouble Monday when he released that 3 pounder because he didn't think it would survive Quote
OCdockskipper Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Kennedy sank me as well. Justin Lucas had made something like 26 cuts in 30 events prior to the start of this year. He has missed all 4 so far in 2017 & I had him in 2 of them. 1 Quote

Super User scaleface Posted May 2, 2017 Super User Posted May 2, 2017 I'm sticking with the same team at Sam that I used at Rez , except in bucket B because B. Lane is now in A . I'm replacing him with Ike . Quote
Diggs Posted May 3, 2017 Posted May 3, 2017 Seems like most of us had a tough tournament. I dropped from the 94% to the 92%, which is generous considering how terrible my team was. Cool experience getting to watch at The Rez. We've got a great group of pros who represent this sport very well. Really was impressed with Adrian Avena and his overall knowledge. One I'll definitely look out for in the future. The conditions were downright scary. Pictures really don't do it justice how large the waves were on Saturday. Never seen so many guys excited to get cut and not have to face going out across the main lake. Ross Barnett usually produces better numbers than what we saw this weekend. Hope the Elite tour gives it another chance in a couple years. Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted May 3, 2017 Super User Posted May 3, 2017 I was shocked to see I climbed up to 3rd after the way I started out at the bottom of the pack. Sure wish I had the VD's last weekend. That doesn't sound right... wish I had picked KVD and JVD. 2 Quote

Well I guess if someone's going to get the VD's there's nobody better than the person who wished for them! ? 2 Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted May 16, 2017 Super User Posted May 16, 2017 Make sure you get your picks in by tomorrow. The Sam Rayburn tournament starts on WEDNESDAY this week. 2 Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted May 16, 2017 Super User Posted May 16, 2017 This is arguably one of the hardest bucket A's I've ever had to wade through...guys like Greg Hackney and Todd Faircloth have great history on the lake, while guys like Kevin Vandam and Jason Christie are fishing out of their minds right now. Bucket B isn't a whole lot easier. Here's something interesting: Hackney, Christie, and Faircloth have all consistently made top 50 cuts since last June! That's some crazy consistency. I'm confident most of these guys will do well, but I can't make up my mind. Quote

Super User Jrob78 Posted May 17, 2017 Super User Posted May 17, 2017 KVD, Faircloth or Evers...hmmm Quote
