Super User Senko lover Posted April 6, 2017 Super User Posted April 6, 2017 BassTrakk keeps getting better for my guys. 3 in the top 4 now. 1 Quote
IndianaFinesse Posted April 6, 2017 Posted April 6, 2017 Two of my guys way overestimated there weights, so I now officially have 1st, 2nd, 31st, 56th and 85th. Surprised Dean Rojas is doing so poorly, I figured this would be right up his alley given that he won in 2011 and this is almost exactly the same type of tournament. Glad I picked Jacob Wheeler over Tharp. The fact that he was just married a few weeks ago made me nervous about picking him, I figured he might be distracted or have to cut his prefishing time short because of it. Apparently not, as he is sitting in 1st place! Quote
CTBassin860 Posted April 6, 2017 Author Posted April 6, 2017 I gave 8th,13th,15th,18th,56th.Sitting good for day 2! Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted April 7, 2017 Super User Posted April 7, 2017 James Elam 29th Alton Jones 10th Edwin Evers 15th Jacob Powroznik 31st Chris Zaldain 56th Not bad for the first day. Hopefully they keep it up. Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted April 7, 2017 Super User Posted April 7, 2017 Wheeler 1st Van Dam 34th Hite 2nd Palaniuk 8th Lane 104th. Tomorrow will be a very interesting day. If the wind dies down, some of the guys could get on that topwater bite that everyone was talking about. The weights are so close across the board that it's really a matter of who gets those big fish tomorrow. Anyone could get lucky. I'm sitting in 77th%, getting closer to where I want to be. But this is only day 1. Quote

The marriage won't happen until after fishing season, lol, though a move to another state will likely happen this summer. Lots on his mind, but so is the thought of being ranked #1 angler in the world (2nd right now according to another site). His Toledo Bend pre-fishing went so well though he left early. Said he's never seen so many good bass in a lake than he has there. I took that as a good sign 1 Quote

I took that as a good sign Oh, I thought I heard during Cherokee's weigh in that he was getting married in mid march, must have miss heard him. Looking good for him right now if his pattern holds up, if he wins it I would imagine he will move up to #1 in the world (according to ***) I had previously noticed that Jacob lowballs his weights, I was mentioning Dean Rojas and Zaldian who both estimated their weights higher than they actually had. Super User Gundog Posted April 7, 2017 Super User Posted April 7, 2017 The first day was not so good. Best one was Edwin Evers at 15th. Then Greg Hackney at 19th, Jacob Powroznik in 31st, KVD at 34th and finally Justin Lucas at 60. Hope tomorrow is better. Quote
Super User Montanaro Posted April 7, 2017 Super User Posted April 7, 2017 I jumped up 12% Should get all my guys in the cut...which is good if I were trying to win the season....but Im so far out my best odds are to try to win a single tournament...which means id need 3 or 4 in top 12. 1 Quote
Gotfishyfingers? Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 Guess who forgot to fill out their bracket in time..... I can't believe it... There goes my season... 3 Quote
Senko Junkie Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 Wow!!!! I don't have an angler in the top 40. I'm going to quit researching and from now on, I'm just picking favorites. 1 Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted April 7, 2017 Super User Posted April 7, 2017 Holy cow 4 of mine are in the top 12 1 Quote
Super User buzzed bait Posted April 7, 2017 Super User Posted April 7, 2017 i've got a few in the top 10 according to the basstrakk score A- Jason Christie B - Todd Faircloth C - Aaron Martens D - Matt Lee E - Chris Zaldain 1 Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted April 7, 2017 Super User Posted April 7, 2017 I'm amazed not only to see Matt doing so well but to watch Jordan climbing the leaderboard as well. None of us has any idea about how much pressure and exposure he has right now and he's calm, cool, and collected. Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted April 7, 2017 Super User Posted April 7, 2017 Man, Davy is such a great addition to Live. Not sure where Zona is though. 1 Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted April 7, 2017 Super User Posted April 7, 2017 It's nice getting an opinion from a true expert who can provide some real insight. 2 Quote

I picked Matt solely because I thought he'd be really trying to breakout from his brothers win at the classic.... not to mention he's an awesome angler and I thought he be a good fit at Toledo. 7 minutes ago, Jrob78 said: Man, Davy is such a great addition to Live. Zona seems like a good dude, but he derails the conversation sometimes and goes way too far down the hole. I think Davy is great and would like to see him on the permanent rotation in the studio. 1 Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted April 7, 2017 Super User Posted April 7, 2017 Sitting in 76.2. My gamble on Chris Lane having a comeback tourney did not pan out - the man has never been able to do anything wrong on this body of water but must have offended some higher powers because he can't do squat right now. Other than him, things are shaping up for a fantastic weekend. A good bag by KVD today and I could see him getting into the top twelve. My other three have gotten top twelves both days, so Sunday could be good for me. We shall see. It's funny that y'all find Davy so fascinating. I actually have really missed Zona - he provides the zest and humor into the conversation that really goes a long way. I like Davy just fine though, he's been a good addition to the team. The lack of coverage is annoying, to say the least. This happened in 2016 and at some point they may decide to only start fishing venues that have good live coverage. I don't know, but Toledo sure sucks in that regard. Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted April 8, 2017 Super User Posted April 8, 2017 Don't get me wrong, I miss Zona too. I like when all 3 are calling the action. 1 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted April 8, 2017 Super User Posted April 8, 2017 Only 2 of my anglers improved their positions from day 1. All the others got worse. Quote
Super User scaleface Posted April 8, 2017 Super User Posted April 8, 2017 The pros sure lose a lot of fish . Playing a bass seems to have become a lost art . 1 Quote
Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted April 8, 2017 Global Moderator Posted April 8, 2017 No one in the top 12 for me. I bombed this tourney! 1 Quote
Super User scaleface Posted April 8, 2017 Super User Posted April 8, 2017 No top 12's for me either . 1 Quote
