Super User fishballer06 Posted July 28, 2017 Super User Posted July 28, 2017 I wasn't aware they were that short on marshalls today. I saw Ott Defoe posted on FB that he had no marshall. That's over 25% of the field not having a marshall with them. Quote
Super User Team9nine Posted July 28, 2017 Super User Posted July 28, 2017 Yeah, probably not a lot of guys eager to take a 150 mile round trip beating to Ti and back - lol...or just not that many anglers in the area willing to pay to watch after back to back NY events 1 Quote
BCline Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 What a difference a week makes. Is anyone else shocked to see KVD near the bottom? I had a hunch and dropped him for Palaniuk, so far its looking like a good move. Quote

BCline Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 You and about 40% of the people playing. He must still be hung over from last week's win. Quote
Super User Team9nine Posted July 28, 2017 Super User Posted July 28, 2017 And makes for an interesting AOY shake-up. Christie closes the gap on Palaniuk, and they both distance themselves from the rest of the pack, likely lead by Wheeler in 3rd. KVDs and Ashley's chances just took a major blow. Quote
Super User scaleface Posted July 28, 2017 Super User Posted July 28, 2017 This tourney is like the last one .Two in the bottom ten and one in the top 50 . I really felt good about this team ,just like last time LOL Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted July 28, 2017 Super User Posted July 28, 2017 Ya win some, ya lose some haha. Y'all heard me crow about having a good event last week, so no sore losing this week. At least I didn't pick the Vandams. The good news is that the weights are really, really stacked so anything is possible tomorrow. Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted July 28, 2017 Super User Posted July 28, 2017 Tough day for me too. It isn't over yet though. Quote
OCdockskipper Posted July 28, 2017 Posted July 28, 2017 The lackluster performance of the Van Dams as well as Dave Lefebre & Koby Krieger led to a shake up in our standings. Unofficially, Alk402 has survived the VD bombing and actually extended his lead slightly, I moved up to 2nd 80 points behind him, gundog slipped to 3rd, 20 points behind me, NorCal held steady at 4th while fishballer shot into the top 5 (pushing Kyle into the "others" category ). The weights are so tight, I would expect this order to shake up again tomorrow. Good news is if your guys did bad, it is tough for them to lose any more points... 1 Quote
CTBassin860 Posted July 29, 2017 Author Posted July 29, 2017 I had 3 guys in the top 25 at 3:00. Then JVD goes from 11 to 93. Go home Basstrak your drunk. 1 Quote
IndianaFinesse Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 I put in a lot of research for this event, and I still would have done better if I'd picked randomly. 2 Quote

Super User Montanaro Posted July 29, 2017 Super User Posted July 29, 2017 Alton jones was a good pick on my part Too bad everyone else tanked. Kennedy did alright though. I still jumped up 3%.... Here is the deal though fellas...the weights are very close! Someone in 90th could easily make the cut and if they find the right fish could challenge for a top 10. Quote

Super User MIbassyaker Posted July 29, 2017 Super User Posted July 29, 2017 Wheeler, Lefebre, JVD, Lucas, Zaldain. Bombed yesterday with only Wheeler & Zaldain over the 50 mark, and nobody better than 30th. Now, I see Basstrakk has Wheeler at the top right now, Lucas at 23, Zaldain and Lefebre right around 50, and JVD (I assume) unaccounted for. Here is what I think I have learned about fantasy fishing research: A little goes a long way, but a lot doesn't get you much further. 3 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted July 29, 2017 Super User Posted July 29, 2017 Watching Bassmaster Live, Brandon Lester nailed a nice size smallmouth....on a ned rig!!! still ain't gonna do it. 2 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted July 29, 2017 Super User Posted July 29, 2017 Worst part about this is up until Monday I had Wheeler on my roster. AAAAGGGGHHHHHHH!!! Quote
Super User Montanaro Posted July 29, 2017 Super User Posted July 29, 2017 Have kennedy and jones in top 10. Had i kept jordan lee over elam id have 3....ugh. 1 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted July 29, 2017 Super User Posted July 29, 2017 Both Lee brothers are up there. It would be amazing if they finished 1st and 2nd. Not sure if that has ever happened in a BASS tourney but if it did it was probably the Murray brothers. Quote
Super User scaleface Posted July 29, 2017 Super User Posted July 29, 2017 I tied a record . Zero anglers made the cut . 1 Quote
OCdockskipper Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 So the Van Dams recouped 40 plus points each for their owners while Lucas & Fieder made major 80 plus point jumps. On the other end of the spectrum, Hamilton, Chapman, Mueller and Omori all took nosedives of over 45 points. NorCal had a rollercoaster day, with 3 anglers gaining a total of 112 points only to have his other two give back 106 points. That is enough to make one heave... Unofficially, Alk402 has again extended his lead, Gundog leapfrogged over me into 2nd, I slid to 3rd, NorCal stayed in 4th & Kyle decided to rejoin the top 5 by jumping into a tie with Jorgaba. Good luck tomorrow everyone!! Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted July 29, 2017 Super User Posted July 29, 2017 I have no mother freaking idea how I made it back to the top 5 because today was a nightmare. Hartman made it and that's it. This is one of those events I didn't go with my gut picks but chose to go with my heavily researched picks and that didn't go so well. I wanted to replace Hartman with wheeler on the final day but chose to leave the roster alone, and I also really wanted to pick Feider. Hindsight is 20/20 lol. 1 Quote
