I haven't watched Bassmaster Live so I don't know, but Ehrler has to have more than two fish in his boat. Maybe he's fishing in an area with bad cell service? Wishful thinking anyways.

They were just talking about how a few of the top guys from yesterday can't even manage to get a limit today, including Ehrler.

Go figure. I was sitting pretty good before the launch today. After the cut today I might be left with two maybe three guys. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Walker needs one stinkin' fish and he should make the cut.

Just keep plugging away at it. One bad tournament is not going to do you in! :ok-wink:

I'd just like to see one of us win that boat at the end of the year.

I only have three that made the cut.  Luckily they are all in the top ten, but its unlikely I'll place well with only three guys.

At least i still have 3 in the top ten.  Kvd and walker bombed, but wheeler is in 2nd, Mullins is in 5th, and Ott Defoe is in 9th.

I only had 3 make the cut but my other 2 were in the top 61, so I think my score will improve.  Not a great start but I didn't hurt my season too badly.

Casey Ashley rebounded a little bit for me.....so did David Walker. Which puts them both the 60s. And my other three are top 12. I can't be complaining, could be a lot worse. I'm pulling for one of my three locals to win. Although I really like the Jesse Wiggins guy who led today.

With some of the top guys bombing today there's no telling what tomorrow will bring.

Defoe, Mullins & Wheeler all had the highest percentage of players choosing them in their buckets (A,C,E) and are in the top 10 after day 2.  That really hurts those players who chose other anglers who most likely will finish behind them.

KVD & Walker were the top vote getters in B & D and both finished in the 60's.  That is helpful if you chose someone else in that bucket who didn't crash, it gives you points over a bunch of players.  I was fortunate in bucket D, Walkers late rush didn't get him into the cut or pass my sinking D pick, Jonathan Van Dam (sorry Kyle).

For the top 3  in the Bass Resource group, we all have 3 in the top 10, one in the 20-30 and one missed cut in the low 60's.  That middle pick for the 3 of us will most likely determine the winner of our group.  BMac has Mueller, Flying Monkie has Coulter & I have Pirch, all 3 could easily move in either direction on Saturday.

It looks like the pick of the tournament may turn out to be Randall Tharp.  If he holds on to big bass & big bag, those 80 points will put him far & above anyone else, even if Wiggins holds on the next 2 days & wins.

Last year in the first tournament, I chose Cliff Crochet.  He had a great first day and then crashed, barely making the cut.  Apparently that has become a theme for him.

@OCdockskipper you have no idea how much inner turmoil I had about David Walker even coming into this - not the first time he's let me down in Fantasy haha.

93.4 percentile, and seventh in this group. But I only have Ott Defoe, wheeler, and Mullins left, so my rank is going to drop hard tomorrow.

My Man Paul Mueller getting it done!! if he makes the cut ill be pretty pumped. Assuming Ott, mullins, and Wheeler do their job as well.

Hahaha . my lone finalist , Paaul Elias , is getting skunked .He may very well finish in 50th place . I'll  rethink my strategy next tourney . I dont think the legends are hungry enough .

Not looking good for Menendez for me today, I knew he was a long shot to make the cut today but was hoping to get a few more points out of him. Will still have Wheeler and Defoe. Ike is having a good tournament so far. I didn't expect that.
