Super User gim Posted April 28, 2017 Super User Posted April 28, 2017 I have seen them used on Lindner's Angling Edge for smallmouth and they were on sale when I was last at Cabela's so I admit that I bought a pack to try. I will report back with results. Quote

It wasn't that I was unsatisfied with your post, rather that the circumstances around it made it appear a little fishy to me. That is a "me" problem, not a "you" problem, so don't take it personal. Plenty of others read your post without delving into conspiracy theories as I did. As far as the warm welcome, it was an official city of brotherly love welcome ... 1 Quote

Sorry I did not add any personal info before I replied.....WOW.....tough crowd! That was a nice warm welcome to the page!!!!!!! This is actually a great welcoming community. Many of the annoying, aggravating things you find on other forums won't be found here because the members and moderators are quick and efficient at targeting negative behavior or types of posts that are not allowed. Very few battles break out where name calling, personal attacks and swearing get involved. This isn't the place for that. We don't allow people to promote their own independent pages or YouTube channels because the forums quickly get flooded with it. Companies pay "mercenaries" to drop into forums and promote their products or services relentlessly, not here. If you want to talk about fishing, pass on your knowledge, and learn ALOT, this is the place for you and you will find yourself very welcome here. If your intentions are anything but, you won't be around long enough for us to notice you're gone anyway. So, In lew of any evidence to the contrary, WELCOME aboard we're happy to have you!! Quote
PaBassMan13 Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 Thanks all for the explanation, haha! No hard feelings whatsoever But seriously; I do love the 3.5" Storm 360 GT's. They have caught a lot of Bass for me so far this season; and the season only started about a month ago. I honestly have never owned any Storm baits with the exception of their Chug Bugs (which are excellent) so I did not have a lot to base my decision on to buy the Storm Brand baits. Every year I look over all of the new baits that are released and skip pretty much every one of them. The Storm 360 just looked different TO ME so I went for it, haha. I am certainly glad I did. As a die hard rapala fan(which is now an umbrella over storm). I would still caution you to not go hog wild on all of storms baits lol... Quote
bonzai22 Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 I bought one pack of them but haven't thrown them yet. They look pretty good but storms baits seem hit or miss. I've done well with some of their stuff and not caught a fish on others. Quote
PaBassMan13 Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 I bought a few of the Arashi Wakebaits when they first came out. Never got a single bite on one so I sold them. Quote

Actually, its basically just a regular old swimbait. I dont know why but i actually want to buy it. I like the profile of it and the plastic head and rattles on the hook. Maybe the ads did their job and hooked me instead of the fish. My wallet is ready I feel the same way i really wanted to buy them and the jig head really got my attention. Then after closer scrutiny i realised its the most basic swimbait with the lamest action I've ever seen and the fact you only get one jig head turned me off. Quote
Rodney Smith Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 Welcome to the forum PaBassMan13. There was nothing wrong with your post. There are some people on this forum who seem to want to correct other people instead of adding something of value to the conversation. This forum is supposed to be a fun and informative place to go to share ideas about a sport we all love, not one for venting. Quote
Super User eyedabassman Posted June 7, 2017 Super User Posted June 7, 2017 Is it not about catching fish??? If I think a bait or a new bait that comes oot gives me the advantage over the fish than I am all in!!!! Money or catching fish that is for you to decide! Quote
d-camarena Posted June 7, 2017 Author Posted June 7, 2017 After using these for a while i have some things to say. 1. It catches fish 2. The plastic body could use some tweaking. The action is too ceazy for me. 3. I wish storm sold the swimjigs seperate. Love the actual head and hook but not crazy about the body Quote
PaBassMan13 Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 Let's see if I can bring this post alive again. I have now tried the 3.5 and the 4.5 360GT's so far and have had fairly mixed results. I have had great days with the baits and some no-fish days with these baits. Personally; I like the 4.5" version better than the smaller one. The larger baits just seems to have better action. Two weeks ago I was out on a local lake and was having a very uneventful day throwing many different baits. I tied on a 4.5" 360GT and finally caught my only two Bass of the day. I just purchased several colors in the 5.5" version and am really looking forward to getting those out on the water. My home lake has a good supply of Bass (Green and Brown); Muskies and Hybrid Stripers so I am thinking the the 5.5 might work even better. I cannot find much info on the 5.5 online so I wonder if anyone out there is throwing the largest version. I would imagine that thing is really going to kick around as opposed to the other two. I saw how much better the 4.5 was than the 3.5 so I am thinking the 5.5 might be even better? Has anyone else on here used the largest of the three sizes; I would be curious to hear of anyone's success (or lack there-of). It seems like just about everyone out there is throwing the smallest 3.5 version. The one thing I do notice about this bait is I lose some fish. I am thinking I am so used to a reeling or sweeping hookset (I fish finesse most of the time) that I am just not setting the hook properly. These baits; especially the 4.5's have a pretty beefy 4/0 hook. Again; I think I am not setting the hook properly all the time. The largest version comes with a very stout 7/0 hook in the jighead; I would imagine I'm really going to have to rip some lips when setting the hook with these. Does anyone else tend to lose fish with these; it appears as if the hookpoint is very sharp. Quote
Tackle junkie Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 I picked up over 20 plus packs of these baits in different sizes because I liked them so much. I have thrown them off and on over the last year in Arizona and have only had 1 fish try to eat it and a few followers. I still have confidence in throwing them because they run great for me and like the action. Quote
