Does anyone know where I can purchase some?  I got a sweet little tip here locally  about them working wonders over the traditional football jig in my area. I know they make slip style ones but I need the collar like a bullet punch to tie my skirt to.

I apologize. I went back through and analyzed my description of what I was looking for.  It is a poor description.

That is what I'm looking for but I want a football head instead of the bullet.

i haven't found any with a skirt collar but reins does sell a sliding football head

you could probably get a wobble football head and use a punch skirt if you can't find what you're looking for.

Why!? You want the weight as streamlined as possible to get through with minimal weight .

Do it makes a mold for a head like you're describing but it's not one I own.

To fish where I would normally fish a football head. Rock and rip rap.  Just something different from what everyone else is throwing.

I have looked on their site and also other places.  Maybe I'm just missing it?

I was wrong, it's a premade head, not a mold.

All are reservoirs.  Right now it is pretty durn cold. But you could fish if you wanted.  It stays pretty mild for lows this time of year.  Usually around freezing.  The lakes never freeze except in some shallow protected areas. And only when temps reach real low which is pretty rare.

Thank you. That may be the way I have to go unless I get a blank and machine a mold.

I think it would be a normal mold, just attach a hook to a wire loop* and insert the wire loop where you would normally put the jig hook.

*I am not sure what I am calling a wire loop is correctly called. I am talking about whatever device the line tie & hook attachment point is on the the swing hook jigs. It would be a substitute for the jig hook in the mold.

thinking about this some more i would get the mustad fast attach ones and tread the skirt on before the hook and then a small piece of plastic worm to hold it in place or glue it down

I have seen them on one of the tackle making sites, Netcraft or lurecraft.

They have the football swing jigs and also the heads that you can add your own rings or hooks. I would check some of the main tackle making shops, Pretty sure they have them in packs of 10.

Hope that helps. I think that is what you may be looking for. They are just like the Mustad Fast Tac as mentioned above.
