Dearmitt1976 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Gonna be fishing lake mosquito the first week of June 2017. Any thoughts as to where to start out, morning and mid morning spots? Quote
smallieking Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Early June the lake will be on fire. Causeway should hold plenty of post spawn bass. Breast of dam and old road bed are good areas as well in June Quote

smallieking Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 the lower lake is pretty clear with good visibly. Above the causeway the water has much color in it. Quote
greendragon Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 Be very careful on Mosquito it shallows up fast. I love the weedbeds. The cove at the campground launch holds bass and walleye. There are both stumps and grass in this are. I caught a 61/2 pound bass right at that area in 3 feet of water. Dropshot , tube.shakey head, and topwater are my favorites. Lots of gents throw rattletraps also. Quote
