lonnie g Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 lost 93 yr old friend today she lost her husband MY HERO few years back. always let me and my younger brother fish there farm ponds when we were just young boys. encouraged us not to get in trouble and took interest in fish we caught . we shared catch with them. more adults should encourage young kids in the right way of life . I am greatfull for so much kindness. will miss them greatly I promise to pass it on Lonnie 9 Quote

Super User HoosierHawgs Posted December 31, 2016 Super User Posted December 31, 2016 Very sad to hear this. I can't even begin to try and feel your pain as I have never lost someone so close to me. I have fished some farm ponds that were on some older folks property, and have always had a great experience. Glad to hear that you will be passing on that legacy to the next generation. On a lighter note, I think that I have not seen you here on the boards before! Take a chance to stop by the Hoosier thread in the Eastern Bass Fishing subforum and meet some of your fellow Indiana guys! We are planning a possible meet up this year as well so stay tuned! Quote
