CountryboyinDC Posted March 28, 2020 Posted March 28, 2020 ^10 Now that's some southern rock I haven't heard in a while. I wonder where my Little Feat cassette tapes are and how I can digitize them. This is the group whose concert I last went to in Atlanta. The 2 percussionists are perhaps the best I've seen in person except for Neil Peart himself. 1 Quote

Super User MN Fisher Posted April 6, 2020 Super User Posted April 6, 2020 ^8 - pretty good group You're not the only one with a connection to a band. My brother-in-law is drummer, male lead and main songwriter for a group. This one's a cover they did at a B-day party...filmed by my sister. Their original music can be found - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjFxT3dgR89WCZf_Je3EC4w 2 Quote
Super User Boomstick Posted April 6, 2020 Super User Posted April 6, 2020 ^7. I'm going with a different type of media here -- you'll have to be on your PC to play it. This is a MIDI file that I made some years ago (be sure to play it through, I added solos). Sorry about the repetitive drums, I did this all with a mouse an I'm not good at drum scoring so I pretty much made a beat and went with it. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AhZmMB-Fz0_2wwtVBnez2k3MVjaM?e=0oA7Kh Quote

Been playing small bars, clubs, and gin joints since I was 15, so I know quite a few musicians, both living and dead. Some even famous and infamous. 1 Quote

One of my friends was a roadie for them for a couple of years when they were touring around here and overseas. His cousin was the drummer at the time (Vic fox) Quote
