Super User Boomstick Posted April 10, 2020 Super User Posted April 10, 2020 ^8. RIP John Prine. Here's a classic from someone else who was diagnosed with the Coronavirus back on 3/28. I haven't heard any updates since but I wish him the best. I've seen him countless times and met him and he's always a very nice guy. Quote

This is not my favorite song of theirs, but I can't find the ones I like better. Really like the sound of the moonshine jug even better than a stringed bass. Yes! That is indeed my favorite song of theirs. That’s also at the blue plate special right near my house! Quote

I saw them years ago and somewhere I have a CD with 'Old Cat Died' and some others that are my favorites. They're definitely worth seeing, especially if they're convenient. I haven't hung around Knoxville a lot, but Tennessee definitely has a thriving music scene going. 1 Quote

The Knoxville visitor center used to host the blue plate special, a live show everyday at noon put on by the local bluegrass station. I want to say the host it elsewhere now, maybe barleys pizzeria 1 Quote
