Super User Sam Posted December 29, 2016 Super User Posted December 29, 2016 I saw the red fox that lives behind my house this summer as it ran across the field at dusk. Beautiful animal. So I set up my field camera and sprinkled some chicken in the area where I saw him run into the woods and sure enough, I captured a bunch of pictures of him at night and here is the best one. Hope he has a mate and has some pups this spring. 5 Quote
bigfruits Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 He looks well fed. The foxes in the woods behind my house in the northern part of your state are very skinny and ragged looking. Its probably not a good thing for them that i see so many. You ever hear them make those demonic noises at night? Quote

You ever hear them make those demonic noises at night? Hate that sound but that's because I hunt fox a few nights a week and that sound usually means I'm busted. Love watching fox though beautiful animals sneaky little things. 1 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted December 30, 2016 Super User Posted December 30, 2016 Every once in a while I see them running between the cornfields in my area. They are cool the way the skulk around. Quote

You ever hear them make those demonic noises at night? That sound is terrifying. When I was about 13 or so we were at a state park and kept hearing that outside. Thought it was a child screaming bloody murder so we went tromping through the woods with flashlights toward the sound and a red fox is just standing there screaming like crazy 1 Quote
