Last_Cast Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 I love BPS to check stuff out, but I'd rather buy online..so x2 on recycling Quote
Super User Cgolf Posted January 10, 2017 Super User Posted January 10, 2017 Apparently I haven't ordered recent enough to warrant a catalog. Used to like to have it to take on trips where I didn't have the oppurtunity to surf the web, it allowed me to get my tackle fix. 2 Quote
beaverretreiver Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Although I always find stuff cheaper online, there is nothing like wondering around bass pros tackle section and deciding how much you can buy without the wife noticing. Quote
XF15-Loader Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 It's like when I was a kid leading through the JC Penney catalog! 1 Quote

Scarborough817 Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 i don't get why people rag on BPS so much, yes the prices are a little higher but realistically they are a good supplier they will likely have most of what you need, and for some people it's easier especially since shipping could be a factor. for me BPS is one of the places i shop because the exchange rate and shipping almost kills me when i order from tackle warehouse so the deal has to be worth it. no like saving $1 on an item Quote
blckshirt98 Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 The BPS in San Jose just shortened their operating hours - no longer Mon-Sat 9-9 and Sun 9-7, it's now 10-9 and 10-7 respectively. Wondering if that store is already running into cash flow problems (note that every time I visit it's always pretty dead with only 1 or 2 checkout registers open and usually no line). Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted January 10, 2017 Global Moderator Posted January 10, 2017 Mines already in the recycling bin. Quote
Super User Darren. Posted January 10, 2017 Super User Posted January 10, 2017 Been sitting on my desk calling me to scan through, but I've resisted so far, LOL. Eventually will get to it 1 Quote

There doesn't seem to be as much stuff in the San Jose store as one of the other BPS stores I've visited (even the fish in the tank are smaller!). The last time I was there, I walked out with a bunch of candy, no fishing stuff. Quote
Yakalong Posted January 11, 2017 Posted January 11, 2017 Got mine a couple days ago, I looked thru it. I think more from habit than anything. Quote
