Fishin' Fool Posted December 27, 2016 Posted December 27, 2016 When you're fishing in a tournament or just for fun, besides a Senko (or similar) what is your go to worm to get bit? I'm trying to find a few more options but a 7" Berkley Powerworm has been good to me in the past. Quote
Super User scaleface Posted December 27, 2016 Super User Posted December 27, 2016 6 inch Manns Jelly worm . 2 Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 27, 2016 Super User Posted December 27, 2016 GYCB Kut-Tail rigged on a MegaStrike ShakE2 Rage Tail Cut-R, T-rigged, unpegged Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted December 27, 2016 Super User Posted December 27, 2016 Excluding senko style baits per your request, my #1 worm over the years has been a 7" power worm. In a close 2nd place would be a 4"-5" finesse straight tailed finesse worm. Quote
wdp Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Zoom ultravibe speed worm. I have hard time not catching fish with it. Works great t rigged or on a shakey head. Zoom dead ringer on a t rig is a close 2nd. 1 Quote

BrackishBassin Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 I know it technically doesn't count, but my go to 'worm' is a Zoom 6" lizard pumpkin/chartreuse. Catches everything in my local lake/ponds. 1 Quote
smr913 Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 7" Black Culprit ribbontail t-rigged with a 3/16 oz bullet weight. 2 Quote

Super User Raul Posted December 28, 2016 Super User Posted December 28, 2016 Zoom Trickworm, previously it used to be Mann's 6" Jelly Worm. Works everywhere all the time. 2 Quote
BrianSnat Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 Well the Senko (and its knockoffs like the Yumdinger) is my go to worm. Next to that I like Zoom Speed Worm, Rage Tail Thumper, Yamamoto Kut Tail, Zoom Trick Worm , Jackall Flick Shake and Rage Tail Anaconda pretty much in that order. 1 Quote

All the above and the Mann's 8" Jelly worm is a great all around size. I almost always t rig with generally 3/8 bullet weight. I like the grape and motor oil colors. My favorite way to fish. ? 1 Quote

bholtzinger14 Posted December 28, 2016 Posted December 28, 2016 I have been using the Grande Bass rattlesnake, Air tail rattler, and Kicker Fish Hightail 11" worm lately. Now a stupid question, why do you choose the worms you choose other than "they catch fish"? Im willing to bet that if I got bit on a green pumpkin Grande Bass Rattlesnake that I probably would have got bit on a green pumpkin _______ (insert any worm listed above). Im really curious. Im guessing some people use what they do because they can buy local. I like the garlic used with Grande Bass and how the Kicker Fish is big and floats. What is your reason? I might have to try something else...... Quote
