Well, the Bills finally pulled the trigger and fired Rex Ryan.

AKA Wrex Wryan on Bills forums.

Now can we find a real coach, please?!

The Browns coach might be available.

That team runs all their talent out of town.  What makes you think a good coach will change things?

Regardless of talented players. you take the same squad with a good coach , and the same one with a bad coach. And there WILL be a noticeable difference in the team's success.

One can hope... :sad-021:

What I haven't opined on is a change from Russ B down.
Shake 'em up, methinks. Hard to know what is needed to
fix the org. Already have new ownership, so is the problem
middle management?

Indeed. Virtually same D players as Schwartz had, opposite

results with Rex and his "vaunted" schemes.

The problem is no one is allowed to fail, and learn from their mistakes.  The Bills already suck, and have for years let their fans down.  Maybe try building an organization that learns how to win.  Oh, never mind, just mortgage it all away with trades for boom or (mostly) bust early draft picks.

I think that argument could apply to the Pegulas.

Learning quickly from a mistake hire. A failure they
will hopefully learn from....

as we've seen in every sports league, a team can go from suck to champ in one season with the right mix of players and coaching...of course those teams don't have to play the Patriots.

True but some teams suck for many years 8-8 style and eventually simi luck into a 4th rnd QB that just happens to work with a O line that had been slowly built. Toss in a excellent RB and even with a coach no one ever gave credit to and a owner / GM that has pretty much left the rails if he was ever on them and you can right a ship.

It takes a lot more than a coach and even just going from a **** coach to a good coach doesn't always make for a winning team. Especially overnight. Dallas was not built this past season by any means.

Man it is almost embarrassing that the Patriots own the AFC so much. Sure wish the Raiders had come through.

I heard they canned his brother Rob as well.

Chip Kelly's system is a huge fail in the NFL where linebackers actually know what they are doing and the QB can't just run for 25 yards every time a corner doesn't fall down, but the Niner's have one of the worst rosters talent wise in the league. Not much he had to work with after the post Harbaugh exodus. He'll get canned, but so should the GM.

Yeah, not sure the college style of Chip Kelly has its
place in the NFL -- today's NFL, that is.

And I DO NOT want him considered for the Bill's top
job!! PLEASE NO!!! Harbaugh wants to stay in control
of recruiting and the college way for now. Can't see
him leaving.

My best guess is we'll see hiring of a top coordinator
be it Anthony Lynn, Patricia, or other...

If he did go to Buffalo, where would he send McCoy off to this time? J/K, I doubt Buffalo would even consider him. They've at least got some talent, I actually really like Tyrod Taylor. Just need to get that defense back to a top tier unit and with Taylor, McCoy and a healthy Watkins there's something to work with. Then again as someone already mentioned, there's still that division rival that nobody wants to play, especially down the stretch.

Indeed. He'd not know what to do with McCoy, LOL.

I like Taylor, too. I hope the next coach knows how to
get the best out of him. I understand the business

decision to bench him this weekend, but not happy
about it. I'd like to see him stay with the team and
a QB whisperer (whoever that may be).

From what I've been reading, that's the case.

I wouldn't be too put out with that...

Dunno what I feel about him. I know he was brought in
last Spring as possible consultation but things didn't
work out.

Maybe it will this time. Who knows....
